You know how there are some people who can skip over breakfast or claim that they don’t like breakfast foods? Yeah, my significant other is one of them until I make him one of these 7 breakfast recipes. I absolutely love breakfast, but when I had to switch to a gluten free and dairy free lifestyle I thought was doomed for scrambled eggs with bacon on the daily. Now there is nothing wrong with that, but can you imagine eating that every day or lapping up the luxury of Cinnamon Chex cereal with almond milk? Boring.

Over the past year and a half I’ve come up with my arsenal of healthy breakfast options that I switch up throughout the week. They are all easy to make, really good for you and even if you don’t have to omit gluten & dairy, you’ll still love them.

#3 ALMOND BUTTER & BANANA RICE CAKES

This recipe calls for brown rice cakes (Cinnamon or Honey Nut are available at Whole Foods) + almond butter + banana slices + blueberries (optional) + quinoa crisps + honey.  Layer onto the rice cakes in order and enjoy!

Don’t they all just look & sound so delicious? I swear by each & every one of these recipes and if you ever come stay at my house, there is a good chance I’ll whip one of these up for you in the morning.
