This California Portobello Burger is so delicious and has the perfect mix of flavors with the Sonoma Spice Blend and roasted tomatoes paired with the crushed avocado and melted gruyere. Honestly, I had my meat loving siginifcant other devouring it and asking for more.
After using the Sonoma Spice Blend seasoning to make Lamb Carpaccio Crostini with a Blackberry Balsamic Drizzle and then the Instant Pot Red Wine Braised Short Rib Pasta, I wanted to try it on a vegetarian dish. Summers to me are signified with a good burger, so I set out to create a refreshing, savory portobello version. I couldn’t be happier with how delicious they turned out and can’t wait to make them again for our friends & family this summer over a nice bottle of Arrowood Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
