It should be no surprise by now that my family has a serious love for Golden Retrievers. I’ve grown up with them all my life and truly have spent very few days without one. When I was back home in Wisconsin for Memorial Day, I took the opportunity to snap some photos of my parents 3 Goldens in the backyard. I was able to capture some great photos that let each of their personalities shine through and wanted to put something together that’d make a great Father’s Day gift.
I’ve used Artifact Uprising in the past to create some neat photo books from trips we’ve taken. It’s such a simple design process that allows you various cover and layout options and makes such a unique “memory book” that’s perfect for displaying somewhere in the house.
Let’s be honest… how many of you have hundreds of photos stored on your computers from digital cameras and have done nothing with them?
Since my Dad has such a love for Golden Retrievers, I thought what better than to create him a For the Love of Dogs photo book! It came out so well and thought I’d share it with you….
We couldn’t forget Dad’s grand-dog! She sure loves when Grandpa comes to visit….
In the past few years we’ve lost 3 Golden Retrievers that were such a joy in our lives and are so missed. I created a section in the back of the photo book to remember their sweet faces & the happy memories they provided us.
I used the last page as my “card” to my Dad thanking him for giving me the opportunity to grow up having Golden Retrievers and learning to love them as a part of the family. It really put the final touch on my Father’s Day gift as I truly am so appreciative to have been taught the bond that dogs can provide us.
