Our guest room got an update this week with a beautiful piece of inspiring wall art that doubles as a functional memo board.
As with every room in our house, I’ve been very picky selecting what items will be hung on the wall. It’s a combination of indecisiveness mixed with simply wanting to take my time and let the right piece find its way to me. With our guest room, I’ve purposely kept the decor to a minimum because the bed is just a LARGE piece of furniture & I didn’t want the room to feel too cluttered. It’s a place for a guest to unwind, not be surrounded by all of our extra crap (just don’t open the closet doors!).
When the lovely team at The Baby Cubby reached out to me & pointed me in the direction of their Petal Lane artwork pieces I was really excited about some of their inspirational magnet boards. Believe me, at first I didn’t think I’d find anything that would work for me because well… I don’t have a baby. Upon further exploration I fell in love with the “Be Kind” magnet board for it’s overall message. I instantly knew where this was going to hang in the room & thought it’d be a great way to share some of my fun photos, our wifi password and other random notes that would be great for the guests to have at-a-glance.
Be Kind. Work Hard. Stay Humble. Smile Often. Stay Loyal. Be Honest. Travel When Possible. Never Stop Learning. Be Thankful and Love Always.
It’s a big piece of art & made of really good quality. I am really impressed with it & just love popping my head into the room to take a glance at it. Perfect timing for it as well since my good friend, Aisha, will be spending the next few days at our house!
If you’re wondering what The Baby Cubby is, it’s an online website designed for every parent out there who has ever felt overwhelmed or discouraged about becoming a parent. The Baby Cubby team is made up of parents who have been there, they know what it’s like and are passionate about encouraging, inspiring, and reminding parents how amazing they are and how important their role is. Though I’m not a parent myself, I’m surrounded by my women who are & I know how much these collective groups that forge ahead with a positive outlook can be for new Moms. What’s also great is that they price match (even against Amazon) and take the extra step to do a ton of research on the product BEFORE they ever recommend it to you. It’s a site designed by parents, for parents.
I just so happen to reap the benefits of really cute artwork that can work for any age! So no… get the question out of your head now, I have no plans to have kids. Nothing has changed on that front. Sorry Mom & Dad. Good news is, I now have a great place to shop for all my nieces and nephews!
