Healthy Snack | Loaded Apple Slices

Since making adjustments to my overall diet to eliminate gluten and dairy, I’ve had to become a bit more creative when it comes to making healthy snacks. It’s easy to grab a bag of chips (they make plenty of gluten free options), but let’s be honest… just because they say sweet potato doesn’t mean they’re chalk full of healthy nutrients.

Whenever I make these loaded apple slices, I can barely finish them because they’re so filling! There is so much goodness in the snack I don’t even know where to start. Beyond just the fact that you’re eating a full apple and banana, you’re getting the nutritional benefits from natural almond butter, 100% raw avocado honey and a boost of protein from quinoa crisps.
