Inspiration // ikat

Some might call it an obsession, infatuation or just plain in love with the ikat print. As a textile thought to be derived from the middle east on over to south america, it has influences of tribal & ethnic qualities with an abundance of colors.

I completely have to restrain myself from making my entire life draped in ikat. I figure a little of something in each category (i.e. home, accessories, clothing) won’t do any harm as long as I’m not wearing the tunic while laying in the bed mixing cake batter in the bowls!
