Do you want to know the trick to looking like a superb home chef? Get yourself an Instant Pot and then make your friends & family this recipe of Red Wine Braised Short Rib Ragu served over a bed of Italian Tagliatelle pasta. There’s no sugar coating it, this recipe was over-the-top delicious and paired wonderfully with Arrowood Vineyards Proprietary Red Blend wine. It’s how the term match made in heaven came about I swear!
I’m sharing the recipe over on Arrowood Vineyards blog and inspiration came about when they challenged me as a home cook to create two recipes using their custom Sonoma Spice Blend. Last month I stepped WAY outside of my box and created a Lamb Carpaccio Crostini with a Blackberry Balsamic Reduction and this month I wanted a recipe that made be step back to the streets of Italy with their rich bold pasta recipes. I promise you this Red Wine Braised Short Rib Ragu will be in constant rotation in our kitchen. The flavors were spot on with the braised ribs thanks to the spice blend and then once pressured cooked for 35 minutes and served over authentic Italian pasta and topped with freshly shaved parmesan and basil from my garden, it was too good to be true.
If there is anything you go & purchase the next time you’re browsing Amazon it’s an Instant Pot. It’ll quickly become your best friend and while you spend much less time cooking, you can actually begin to enjoy that wine. Cheers!
