On The Road Again… Big Bear Mountain

Last week I headed up the mountain to Big Bear Lake, CA for a work retreat I helped planned. Eleven women, two dogs, a candy bar, mimosa bar, tea time lunch, and lots of training in one amazing home makes for a fun time!

As a significant part to the event planning, I often turn to Pinterest for ideas to make it extra special and one-of-a-kind. I’d like to think we accomplished that with the fun elements we added to the weekend that gave it a special touch to let the ladies know this weekend was not only about learning, but about having fun too. (lots of photos were posted on Instagram from the team with #bigbearleadership2013)

The Candy Bar station was frequented often and seemed to be a big hit with the guests! Thanks to The Sweet Shoppe in Big Bear, we were able to pick out quite an assortment of candies …

Friday afternoon we took a break for a delicious ‘Tealightful Lunch’ full of tea tastings, scones with fresh créme, variety of finger sandwiches and even chocolate covered strawberries!

On Saturday morning the ladies woke up to a Breakfast Party with a Mimosa Bar and Jimmy Buffett on repeat! What a fun way to kick off the last day!big bear mimosa bar

It really was a great opportunity for the women connect, get amazing training and have fun. Isn’t that what it’s all about …. loving what you do and having fun while doing it?!?!
