Something you can always find in my van fridge when I'm on the road or out camping is a selection of @kylakombucha. And I mean ALWAYS. I think it's a culmination of my love for kombucha in general and all of its health benefits (gluten free, vegan, live cultures) + a boozy kick and then the ability to grab and go on all my adventures. It keeps up with me and that's not always easy to do!⁠⁠

I'm currently crushing over their Sunbreak Series and their fun flavor combos. The Sunset Trio with passion fruit, orange and guava is quite literally perfect for sunset and the Lavender Lemonade is the perfect sipper while out exploring the mountain.⁠⁠

I think that we can all collectively agree that we've spent far more time in the kitchen this past year. Thing is ... I actually kind of like it. As someone who tries to eat dairy & gluten free, ordering takeout isn't always the easiest or tastiest.⁠⁠

Recently, I started cooking with @havenskitchen sauces to give my recipes an extra little creative twist. The Herby Chimichurri is super delicious over flank steak with roasted veggies and I cannot get enough of the Golden Turmeric Tahini. I followed the recipe on their website (which is where you can also order the sauce packets) for the crispy smashed potatoes and oh my tastebuds they were soooooo good!⁠⁠

Next week I can't wait to try the Gingery Miso Sauce with an Asian stir fry. The best part about cooking is it brings people together. So fire up the oven and treat yourself and your loved ones to something delicious tonight!⁠⁠

Sunday Funday = celebrating my brother’s birthday with a mimosa 🥂 & pancake 🥞 brunch + a bluebird ski day. Everyone go wish @mansk3 a Happy Bday, he’ll love me for it.

I’m hands down a bonafide “snacker.” I enjoy

I’m hands down a bonafide “snacker.” I enjoy the act of eating and therefore enjoy the act of snacking because they’re like bite size efforts compared to a meal. This really gets propelled when I’m on a road trip like I am now. I have alllllllll the snacks, but this time I snuck in my cubby @every.daze essential c’s konjac jelly packs.

I won’t lie, I was hesitant at first because I can be weird with textures but from the box of 10 I got last week, there’s 3 left. I love love love how they taste and I feel great after consuming them because they’re a low calorie, healthy substitute for my usual sugar peach rings.

So Konjac is actually naturally derived from the fibrous roots of an Asian plant and known to aid in cholesterol levels & the digestive system. Plus, they’re infused with collagen + vitamin C so lots of positive benefits.

Around 11am each day while on the road I’ve grabbed a pack and enjoyed it listening to a podcast and already wishing I had more for the way home!
